Brief Summary

An aggressive trial lawyer, Jason leads the Personal Injury Practice Group at Pandit Law.  He represents individuals and insurance companies in a variety of general liability matters. He focuses his practice on personal injury, premises liability, and negligent security.  He also has experience handling trucking and transportation casualty disputes and complex insurance coverage matters.  Jason handles every case as if it's going to trial.  This method gives him the upper hand during settlement negotiations and in the courtroom.

Jason has successfully litigated complex cases involving catastrophic injuries and has secured favorable settlements and verdicts for his clients in state and federal court. He is also recognized as a Rising Star by Louisiana Super Lawyers.

In addition to litigating, he counsels and works proactively with closely-held businesses to avoid potential liability during the development of business ventures.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

Secured a zero verdict as the lead trial attorney for a merchant following a two day jury trial in USDC for Western District of Louisiana, Lafayette Division. Owens v. Dolgencorp, LLC, Case No. 6:12-CV-1043 (2013).

Secured a zero verdict for a national car rental agency following a seven day jury trial in 19th Judicial District Court wherein the plaintiff sought damages in excess of $2,000,000 (2011).

Represented numerous homeowners insurers in the Chinese Drywall Multi-District Litigation. In Re: Chinese Manufactured Drywall Products Liability Litigation (E.D. La. 2010).

Secured a zero verdict following a two day jury trial involving an automobile accident in 24th Judicial District Court (2010).

Secured a zero verdict as the lead trial attorney for an insurer following a bench trial concerning property damage in 15th Judicial District Court (2009).

Secured a defense verdict for a merchant following a bench trial concerning false imprisonment, invasion of privacy, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and defamation in Alexandria City Court (2009).
